Experience colors help make the assignment calendar easier to read at a glance. For example, half-day trips can use one color and full-day trips another, so it is easier to quickly see what each guide is assigned to when viewing the calendar by experience colors.
Experience color coding is an outfitter-only feature. It's set up here in the web dashboard — experience colors don't show up in the guide app.
Turn on experience color coding
Click the organization name.
Select Settings.
Click the Org Settings tab.
In the Experience section, turn on Color Coding.
Click Update to save.
Add or change colors on experiences
Once color coding is turned on, colors can be set on each experience.
For new experiences
When creating a new experience, the Color field appears in the Experience Info section, just below Description. It is required, so a color must be selected before the experience can be saved.
For existing experiences
A Color column will appear in Experiences, where a color can be selected or changed for each experience as needed. The same field is also available in Experience Info when editing the experience directly.
How this helps on the assignment calendar
After experience colors are set up, the assignment calendar can be viewed using experience colors. This makes it easier to quickly tell trips apart and spot scheduling patterns.
For example:
Blue for half-day trips
Green for full-day trips
This can make it much faster to review guide assignments without opening each booking.
