Guide ranking helps Brindlechute know which guide should be considered first when automatic guide assignment is used. The order is fully up to the outfitter and can be based on any internal criteria, such as seniority, preference, or scheduling style.
How to rank guides
Go to Guides.
Review the list of guides.
Look at the Rank column on the left side.
Set the guide order based on the preferred ranking.
Changes are automatically saved.
IMPORTANT: This option only appears when Enable Guide Priority is turned on. To enable it, click the Outfitter Logo in the top-left corner, then go to Settings → Org Settings → turn on Enable Guide Priority → click Update.
How ranking works
The guide ranked first is treated as the highest-priority guide.
The guide ranked second is considered next.
The guide ranked third is considered after that, and so on.
When Brindlechute uses automatic guide assignment, it checks the guide ranking along with availability and eligibility to decide which guide to suggest or assign.
Important to know
Guide ranking is flexible and can follow whatever system works best for the outfitter.
For example, ranking may be based on:
seniority
guide preference
experience level
scheduling priorities
any internal assignment rules
Ranking does not guarantee a guide will always be assigned first. The guide must also be available and eligible for the experience.
Keeping guide ranking up to date helps Brindlechute make better assignment suggestions and keeps guide scheduling aligned with the outfitter’s preferred order.
