Some trips don't fit a fixed price — group size, custom requests, or special arrangements may mean you want to quote each booking individually. The Quoted by Outfitter pricing option lets you offer an experience online without a set price, then set your own price on each booking before confirming and collecting payment.
Set an experience to Quoted by Outfitter
Go to Experiences and either create a new experience or click an existing one to edit.
Scroll down to Price Settings.
Select the Quoted by Outfitter option.
Click Save & Next at the top of the page, then Update Experience (or Create Experience for a new experience) to save.
When a client books online
When a client books a Quoted by Outfitter experience online, no price is charged up front. The booking comes in as a draft awaiting your quote, with a trip subtotal of $0.00.
To find it:
Go to Bookings.
Open the Draft tab.
Select the booking.
Quote the booking
When you open the booking, a banner at the top reads "This booking has line items awaiting an outfitter quote." Each quoted line item shows Awaiting quote in place of a price.
Click Edit at the top right of the booking.
Scroll down to the trip and click Awaiting quote on the line item.
Toggle on Edit price.
Set a subtotal or per-person rate, then click Save.
Scroll back up and click Save to save the booking.
Confirm the booking
Scroll down to Payments Due and finalize the booking one of two ways:
Confirm right away: click the dropdown beside Collect payment, then select Confirm booking.
Send an invoice: click Send invoice and confirm to send the invoice to the client for payment.
