This guide will walk you through each of these features, with concrete examples and use cases to help you get the most out of the builder.

Below is what the updated interface looks like:

Blocks that include AI capabilities are marked with this green icon:

In this document we will cover the following features and how to use them efficiently:

  • AI assistant (text, buttons, headers)

  • Countdown timer

  • Company-saved content blocks

  • Image gallery

  • Saved uploads

AI assistant

AI for text

What is AI for text?

This feature leverages AI to assist with text creation and editing inside your email. Whether you need to correct grammar, rephrase for a different tone, expand ideas, or shorten your message, the Smart Text assistant can help.

How to use it?

  • Write your draft or ideas directly in the text box.

  • Click on the AI assistant to choose what you want help with: correcting tone, making it shorter, adding more detail, etc.

Use cases & benefits?

  • Create professional, polished messages faster.

  • Adapt tone based on your audience: friendly, formal.

  • Example: You want to write a short promotion for a new class. Instead of writing it from scratch, write: "Promote our new yoga class", and ask the AI to expand text or rephrase it. Then change the tone to formal.

AI for headers & buttons

What is AI for headers & buttons?

This tool suggests high-impact headlines and button CTAs (calls to action), optimized for clarity and click-through rate.

How to use it?

  • Input the goal of your email or the email section (e.g., “Promote Pilates class” or “Drive booking for workshop”), and the AI will provide options you can insert directly.

Use cases & benefits

  • Improve subject lines and CTAs to drive more engagement.

  • Example: Instead of writing “Join us now,” let the AI suggest “Book your spot – only 5 left!” or “Start your Pilates journey today.”

AI for images

What is AI for images?

This feature allows you to generate AI images directly inside the builder by writing a descriptive prompt and selecting a style.

How to use it?

  • Type a prompt (e.g., “sunrise yoga on a beach”) and pick a style like “realistic,” “flat illustration,” or “vintage.”

  • Upload the generated image into your email.

Use cases & benefits

  • Easily create visuals that match the theme of your campaign.

  • Example: Launching a summer promo? Use a prompt like “happy group doing fitness outdoors summer sun” to instantly generate on-brand visuals.

Tip: Whenever possible, use authentic photos of your studio or clients for better trust and relevance.

Countdown Timer

What is the countdown timer?

A live countdown timer that visually displays the time left before a specific deadline.

How to use it?

  • Set a specific end date/time in the timer block.

  • Add it to your email wherever urgency is needed.

Use Cases & Benefits

  • Create urgency for limited-time offers, flash sales, or special events.

  • Example: Add a timer to a campaign titled “Last 48 hours to get 20% off your first class.”

Company-saved blocks

What are company-saved blocks?

This feature lets you save customised content blocks (like headers, footers, callouts) or a mix of all, to reuse across multiple emails.

These saved blocks will be saved at studio level.

How to use it?

  • Design a block you use often (e.g., your studio’s footer with address and social links, or a presentation block of your trainers), and click “Save”

  • Next time, drag and drop it from your saved list.

Use Cases & Benefits

  • Save time by not recreating layouts from scratch.

  • Maintain brand consistency across all communications.

  • Example: Create a custom testimonial block once and reuse it in every monthly newsletter.

Image gallery

What is the image gallery?

A built-in gallery of high-quality, license-free images adapted to email formats.

How to use it?

  • Click on “Images” and search by keyword (e.g., “meditation,” “fitness,” “crossfit”).

  • Choose and insert any image directly into your email without downloading/uploading.

Use Cases & Benefits

  • Quickly enrich your emails with nice-looking images when you don’t have custom visuals on hand.

  • Example: Promoting an event about mindfulness? Search for “calm nature” and choose a background image in seconds.

Saved uploads

What is it?

All images you upload into Unlayer are saved in your personal media library (directly in Unlayer).

How to use it?

  • Simply upload images as needed, they’ll automatically be stored.

  • Use search to find and reuse past uploads easily.

Use Cases & Benefits

  • Build a personal studio asset library over time.

  • Avoid repeated uploads of logos, banners, or instructor photos.

  • Example: Upload your logo once, and reuse it every time without hunting for the file again.
