On-Demand is the space where you manage the videos and eBooks your studio sells or rents to members. It has two tabs — Library, for individual videos and eBooks, and Collections, for grouping them into organised sets.
This is the first version — further updates are coming, and the new Back Office is being rolled out gradually throughout the year.
Terminology update: On-Demand was previously called Videos and eBooks (also known as VOD). Collections were previously called Playlists. This article uses the new terms throughout.
Library
Go to Products > On-Demand > Library. Offers are shown in a full-width table with filters at the top (Level, Category, search) and columns for title, teacher, category, duration and tags.
Each row has a 3-dot menu with Edit, Duplicate and Delete, plus a separate Add media action for attaching the actual content: YouTube (embed link), Vimeo (embed link) or eBook (PDF, JPG or PNG).
To create a new offer, click Create an on-demand, fill in the panel — Level, Teacher, Price/Credits and Availability (including rental settings) — then save. Add the media separately afterwards, following the same two-step logic as before: create the offer first, then attach the content.
Collections
Go to Products > On-Demand > Collections. Click Create a collection to set a cover image, a title and a description. Click OPEN on a card to access its detail page: a main image and description on the left, an ordered list of videos on the right (thumbnail, title, duration, teacher), plus an Add a video action for including existing on-demand videos.
What's new
Redesigned Library list: full-width table with visible columns, replacing the old sidebar-plus-list layout
Row actions grouped into a 3-dot menu (Edit, Duplicate, Delete), with Add media as a separate action
Restructured availability panel with clear grouping — Level, Teacher, Price/Credits, Availability — including a new description field for rental offers
The Collections detail page is new: a split layout with main image and video list, which didn't exist before
Playlists have been renamed Collections throughout the interface
What hasn't changed yet
Bulk actions (bulk delete, bulk publish) aren't yet available in the Library list
Video duration isn't yet detected automatically from the uploaded file
Reordering videos within a Collection isn't supported — the order follows the sequence in which videos were added
Editing a Collection's title or description is only possible via the edit icon on its card, not from the detail page
FAQ
Can I still mark a video as "unavailable for purchase" while keeping it visible?
Yes. The checkbox hides the video from purchase for members, but it stays visible to managers and to members who already have access to it.
Can I add a video to a collection if it hasn't been uploaded to On-Demand yet?
No — a video must first be uploaded on the On-Demand page before it can be added to a Collection.
How can I change the order of videos in a collection?
The order is currently set by the date videos were added. Manual reordering isn't available yet.
