DAC7 is a European tax-reporting rule. Apple now asks every developer account to fill in a short DAC7 declaration in App Store Connect. Until it's done, Apple can block new apps and updates from being submitted, so bsport can't publish your iOS app.
Who Can Do This?
The Account Holder or an Admin of your Apple Developer account.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Log in to App Store Connect
Go to App Store Connect and sign in as the Account Holder or an Admin.
Open the Business section
Click Business in the top menu and stay on the Agreements tab.
Find the DAC7 line
Scroll down to the Compliance section. Next to Directive on Administrative Cooperation-7th Amendment (DAC7), click Add Info.
Answer the personal services question
Apple asks whether your app provides personal services that are sold through the App Store.
Your bsport branded app is free, and bookings and memberships are paid through bsport, not through Apple. In most cases the answer is therefore No. Click Done and you're finished.
Only if you answered Yes
If you're a company, say whether it's publicly traded. If it is, click Done.
Otherwise, select the apps concerned, click Next, check the information shown, fill in any missing fields (legal name, address, EU Tax Identification Number, VAT number, business registration number, bank account) and click Done.
After Submission
Once the declaration is saved, the DAC7 line no longer shows as pending and bsport can submit your iOS app again. Let us know when it's done so we can carry on with your app.
Need to change your answer later? Go to Business → Tax Forms, open the DAC7 form and edit it.
This article explains where to complete the declaration in App Store Connect. It isn't tax advice. If you're unsure whether your activity counts as a personal service, check with your accountant or see Apple's DAC7 guide.
