When sending targeted communications to your members, you have the option to send emails as well as SMS.

Without SMS integration, you only have the option to send emails to your members from the Marketing > Smartlists tab.

With SMS integration, you also have the option to send an SMS to your members, to make your communications more modern, direct and effective:
