Part of your business is to grow your member base. To do so you have to find ways to get new leads on your platform to then convert them into active members. The first way to do so is by using our Newsletter widget (see here how to install it).
If you wish to go further, our lead acquisition widget is made for you. The logic is the same as for the newsletter widget: the leads will be able to indicate their information in the widget for you to contact them. So what's different?
The lead acquisition widget is fully customizable. You can change the text but also which fields to display.
For more advanced users, you can also edit this widget with CSS.
You can decide which tag the member will be tagged with when signing up through the widget.
You can create several widgets linked to different tags.
This way you create different widgets to have a lead acquisition for members, but also for teachers for example. You will be able to separate them based on the tag used. You can also use it to differentiate the source of the lead through ads for example. By creating a different widget with a different for each marketing campaign you'll be able to better understand where your leads are coming from.
Step 1: Create your tags
As indicated in the previous part, tags are a big part of this widget. You can learn how to create a tag thanks to this help sheet.
Step 2: Configure your widget
Go to Settings > Widget. In the configuration panel select "Lead acquisition".
You can customize your widget as you please:
indicate the information wanted
full name and email
first name and email
only email
select the wanted tag
you can edit the title and subtitle of your widget
and customize the title and text of your confirmation message
or just decide to completely hide one or more of them
Step 3: Integrate your widget
Once the configuration is done, click on the copy icon and paste the code on your website.
Your widget has now been added to your website! When a lead enters their information, they will be added to your member database with the right tag.
To note: Even though you selected a custom tag, the leads will also be tagged with the 'subscribed to newsletter' tag.
