There are five types of jobs available on Bubble - you're in full control of which ones you take on.
Single sits One-off, ad-hoc bookings. Great for flexibility and building relationships with new families.
Repeat bookings:
Regular Schedule: for recurring, predictable arrangements. The parent sets the same days and times each week (e.g., every Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm to 8pm, ongoing).
Specific Dates: for multiple bookings that don't follow a regular pattern. The parent picks individual dates and times (e.g., 5th Dec, 12th Dec, 8th Jan). Sitters apply to the whole block but can counter-offer if they can't make one of the dates. These are often used for covering a set period like half term, or a run of one-offs that happen to involve the same sitter.
Petcare: Jobs caring for pets, with four sub-types to choose from:
Walking
Sitting: look after a pet in the pet owner's home
Boarding: care for a pet at your own home. You may require a license to do so and can check with your local council for these requirements
Drop-in: check in on a pet during the day
Helpr: Help with everyday household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, or errands.
Permanent positions: Part-time or full-time employed nanny roles for families looking for ongoing, regular childcare.
Night Nanny: Overnight care, typically for newborns. Night Nannies are usually Maternity Nurses, or Doulas - often with newborn care and sleep support certifications. This is not the same as booking an overnight babysitting job for an older child.
