This article will walk you through creating and using a template.
Creating a Template
Start by creating a Templates status. Go to System Settings--->Project Status--->add a new "Templates" name and click ADD STATUS:
Now create a new template project. It's just like creating a new project but we'll place it under our new Templates status
At this point you can then start creating content such as a schedule, budget, selections, etc. These can later be copied to other projects
Now let's copy our template schedule to another project
In this example, I opened a new project, loaded the schedule module, and clicked on Load From Template from within the dropdown. I can then choose the template to be copied over.

Note: this also works with any other project, no matter the status, it can be copied from one project to another
