Schedule Overview

What is the purpose of the schedule

A schedule is a powerful tool that can enable you to manage a large workload with less effort. It is used to track and manage the details of your project and keep all project team members up to date. Ensuring you have happy customers and builds that are finishing on time

Now that we have the basic idea of the "why" of the schedule lets take some time to walk you through the foundational steps of building a schedule.

Creating a schedule

Adding Phases

To get started let's make sure you've selected a project and are in the working schedule module. Then click on Quick Add to add a new phase, then click the phase title once to edit its name

Note: all changes are saved automatically, but if you prefer to save manually uncheck the Autosave function and save by using the Save button

Adjusting dates and predecessors

Click the date picker to choose a date or drag & drop on the Gantt view

Link phases together by using predecessors. For example, if linking phase 2 to phase 1 type a 1 as the predecessor

You can also link phases via the Gantt chart

Add resources to your phases. These are the people that will be assigned and notified once the schedule is published

Publish your schedule

Click Publish or the megaphone icon. You can then choose who to notify
