What are Services

The service module is a section which it is utilized with the purpose of keeping track or work orders and warranty items.

Service Status

You'll notice we have several different statuses for service items.

Request: If the client logs in they can make new service requests in this section. This then notifies the project manager of the request.

Open: Once the request has been assigned to a vendor or company that will be tending to the request this then moves to Open.

Complete: Shows any completed service items which can be reviewed prior to being closed.

Closed: All closed out service items.


Creating a new Service Item

-Item: title of the request
-Assigned To: choose a recipient from your contacts
-Description: body of the message
-Location: choose a room name (only rooms created under Selections will appear here)
-Tags: keywords for better search
-Due Date: choose a date when this item will be due
-Link to Phase: ability to link the due date to one of your schedule phases
-Reminder Date: sends out an email reminder on this date
-Appointment Date: add an appointment which can later be sent to the client by clicking the blue "meeting" link


Other Tab

You'll be able to add a category, payment method if any, materials that the assigned resource may need for this visit, site access instructions, and any notes.
