Introduction
With Bukku, you can easily manage and track your inventory in real-time. Enable the 'Track Inventory' option when creating a product, and the system will automatically update stock levels as you make sales or purchases.
You can also set low stock level alerts to notify you when inventory is low and receive out-of-stock alerts during sales transactions.
Here’s how you can set it up and check your inventory status.
Enable Inventory Tracking
To start tracking inventory, follow these steps when creating a product:
Navigate to Products & Services > +New.
Tick the checkbox for Track Inventory.
Once this feature is enabled, Bukku will automatically track the stock levels of the product as it is sold or purchased.
Monitor Your Stock Levels
After enabling the inventory tracking, Bukku will keep an up-to-date count of your stock. You can check product quantities at Reports > All Reports > Inventory Reports:
Inventory Summary – Provides an overview of all products and their total stock respectively, giving a quick snapshot of your current inventory.
Inventory Detail – Shows a detailed breakdown of stock movements, tracking in-and-out transactions for each product.

Alternatively, you can check your product quantities by going to Products & Services > Quantity column.
Set Up Low Stock Level Alerts
You can set low-stock level alerts in Bukku to get notified when a product's stock falls below a specified quantity.
To set a low stock alert, follow these steps:
Navigate to Products & Services.
Click View at the product you want to monitor.
In the Inventory Tracking section, enter the desired quantity for the low-stock alert in the Low Stock Level box.
Once you set a low stock level, Bukku will notify you when the stock falls below that threshold. For example, if you set the alert at 10, the system will send a notification when the stock reaches 9 or lower.
Additionally, you will see the product marked as Low in Stock in the Products & Services listings.
This feature helps you stay informed about your inventory levels, ensuring you can reorder products in a timely manner.
Out of Stock Alert and Notification
Bukku provides out-of-stock alerts. When creating an invoice, if you attempt to sell more than the available stock, the system will notify you before allowing it to be saved.
You will still have the option to proceed and save the invoice. However, once you save it, you will receive a notification indicating that the product is now out of stock.
Additionally, the product will be marked as Out of Stock in the Products & Services listing, making it easy for you to identify which items need replenishment.
This feature ensures that you stay aware of stock levels during sales transactions, helping you manage your inventory more effectively.
