You can add a new team or edit teams at any point during the challenge.
How to Create Teams
To add a new team in your team module as follow the three steps :
Step 1 : Create team via Admin Center
Select the Official Non-Nested Challenge from the list.
Scroll down the page, find your "Team Leaderboard", “Team Virtual Race” or "Team Stick To It" challenge module, and select 'Manage Teams.'
Select "Create a Team".
Enter the team name into the dialog box, and select “Edit team photo” and “Edit cover photo” to upload an image for each. If you do not select a team photo or cover photo, a default image will automatically be assigned.
Create your team. Refresh your screen if you do not see your new team populate right away.
Step 2 : Create the team with the same name in WIM
Click here to set up your new team in WIM. Completing this step ensures that new users can easily select the newly created team when they sign up.
Please note : The team name in WIM must match the exact team name created in the Admin Center.
Step 3 : Monitor the users joining such newly created teams
Users who select these teams during sign-up will need to be manually added to the corresponding teams in the Admin Center. Be sure to check and update these teams periodically throughout the duration of the official challenge.
To add such users to a team, navigate to the team and use the "Add users to team" button. Your users must be in your challenge before you can add them to teams.
How to edit team specs
To add a new team in your team module as follow the two steps :
Step 1 : Edit Team via Admin Center
Select your challenge from the list.
Scroll down the page, find your "Team Leaderboard", “Team Virtual Race” or
"Team Stick To It" challenge module, and select 'Manage Teams.'
Select the name of the team you wish to edit.
If you want to edit the team name, click into the dialog box to make edits. If you want to edit either the team photo or cover photo, simply click the “Edit team photo” or “Edit cover photo” buttons to upload a new photo.
Click the Save button to save your changes. Refresh your screen if you do not see your changes show right away.
Step 2 : Edit the same team in WIM
Click here to update your team details in WIM. This step ensures that team information remains consistent between the Admin Center and WIM throughout the challenge.
Please note : The updated team name in WIM must match the updated team name in the Admin Center.
