Can I use the registered agent address as my regular business or mailing address?

The registered agent address is a legal service address only, not a day-to-day mailing address.

No. The registered agent address is only for Service of process (lawsuits and similar legal notices) and Official mail from state agencies and certain government offices.

You should not use the registered agent address for:

  • Client or customer correspondence

  • Bank accounts, debit/credit cards, or checks

  • Vendor invoices, packages, or returns

  • Marketing materials, website footers, or Google Business profiles

If you need an address for everyday business mail, banks, and clients, you should use your own office/home address, or a virtual mailbox / business address service, such as the BusinessAnywhere virtual mailbox
