What types of mail can be sent to my registered agent address?

Legal and official notices only, not general correspondence.

Updated over 4 months ago

The registered agent address is intended for:

  • Service of process (lawsuits, subpoenas, legal notices)

  • Official state correspondence (Secretary of State, Corporations Division, similar agencies)

  • Certain compliance or tax notices from government authorities

It is not designed for:

  • Client or customer letters

  • Bank cards, checks, or financial statements

  • Packages or courier deliveries

  • Marketing mail, catalogs, or general advertising

  • Day-to-day business correspondence

Non-legal or non-official mail may be rejected, returned, or destroyed according to our internal policies. For everyday mail and packages, use a dedicated mailing or virtual mailbox address instead.
