Delay default appointment time and date values per the duration you set

Now you can define a duration which will add onto the default date and time of the appointment that appears on the date picker screen.

The default date and time values in the date picker for setting appointments were of the moment when the "end script" button was pressed. This was causing a very error-prone practice for the operations that work very fast.

To prevent such errors we developed a field in which you can specify the duration of the delay to be added onto the current moment in the date picker. You can make the necessary arrangements on the finish codes tab of the campaign settings.

Once you select "Scheduled" option on the reason code dropdown, you will see the "Schedule Delay" field. The values on the date picker will be sorted according to the delay you set in this field. This way the errors of appointment setting on the same very moment due to the occasions when the save button is clicked on without setting a proper appointment date on the picker will be prevented.

You can also set various finish codes with different schedule delays to fit your daily call scenarios.

Below you can find the examples of three finish codes that work on the schedule delay principle;

  • Quick Appointment: 15 minutes of delay to set an appointment for the contacted customers who wanted to be called again very soon.

  • Unanswered Call: 3 hours of delay to set an appointment for customers that did not reply.

  • Follow-up Call: 2 days of delay to set an appointment for checking on a prospect.

For instance, on the Fourth of January at 17:17, the schedule delays will work like below;

Quick Appointment (+15 minutes)


Unanswered Call (+3 hours


Follow-up Call (+2 days)

As you can see in the examples above the agents can effortlessly set appointments according to the standardized delays for each finish code that are considered to be optimal by the management.

Besides, it will be possible to create harmony among the organization with standard delays for the right call scenario, minimizing the risk of erroneous appointments.
