Integrate C-Cube with QuickBooks

Written by Jacob Gagnon

The connection between C-Cube and QuickBooks is an excellent way to increase productivity and put an end to manual data entry and errors.

Our connection to QuickBooks is made via the Zapier app to make the connection easier.

The integration with QuickBooks gives you:

  1. Your C-Cube invoices in QuickBooks

  2. Your C-Cube clients in QuickBooks

  3. Your C-Cube payments to QuickBooks and QuickBooks payments to C-Cube

How it works

From C-Cube to QuickBooks

Action in C-CUBE

Action copied to QUICKBOOKS

Client (contact or company) created when the quote is won

✔

Invoice sent *

*when it is in draft mode, it is not sent to QuickBooks

✔

*"Services" product/service automatically applied with Quebec Taxes

*possibility of having multiple products/services applied automatically

Invoice edited [not possible after it has been sent in C-Cube]

N/A

Invoice cancelled

✔

Negative invoice sent (e.g.: -$100)*

WARNING: DO NOT USE the credit note option.

✔

A credit note is created

Invoice without tax

✔

Payment added to an invoice

payment added to the invoice

*the invoice is created in QuickBooks as soon as the payment is assigned, even if the invoice has not been sent yet

From QuickBooks to C-Cube

Action in QUICKBOOKS

Action copied to C-CUBE

payment applied to one or more invoices

payment assigned to the correct invoices

Invoice balance paid in full

or

Credit note applied in full

Invoice marked as closed

or

Negative invoice marked as closed

Tax calculation identical to QuickBooks

C-Cube now calculates taxes line by line, following industry standards, just like QuickBooks. The small difference of a few cents that could previously appear between a C-Cube invoice and the same invoice in QuickBooks is therefore eliminated. Sync reliability has also been improved.

*Fees apply depending on several factors discussed during the meeting.
