How to Use the Shareable Link Feature in Cactus

Cactus provides an easy way to share your real estate underwriting analysis with teammates, clients, or stakeholders using the Shareable Link feature. This guide will show you how to use this feature to share your Quick Analysis results.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Locate the Share Button:

    • After generating your Quick Analysis, you'll find a Shareable Link toggle at the top right corner of your screen (see screenshot below).

    • Toggle the switch to activate the share feature.

  2. Copy the Link:

    • Once the share toggle is turned on, a shareable link will appear in the box.

    • Simply click on the copy icon next to the link to copy it to your clipboard.

  3. Link Expiration:

    • The shareable link is active for 30 days upon creation, after which it will expire, ensuring limited access to sensitive data.

  4. Share with Others:

    • Paste the link in an email, chat, or any platform of your choice to share it with others. They will be able to view the results of your Quick Analysis without needing to log into the platform.

Example of a Shared View:

To get an idea of what a recipient will see, check out this example view. They will receive a clean, read-only version of your underwriting analysis, which they can review but not modify.

Benefits of Using the Shareable Link:

  • Quick Collaboration: Share your analysis in seconds without needing additional accounts or logins.

  • Secure Sharing: The link is temporary, with access expiring after 27 days.

  • Professional Presentation: Share professional, well-formatted reports directly from the Cactus platform, maintaining consistency in your communications.

This feature is designed to simplify collaboration, especially when working with external partners or clients who don’t have access to the Cactus platform.
