Step 1
The first step is to select the email that you would like to save as a template
(Content > Emails > select email)
A preview will display - on the top right-hand corner there is a star icon.
Click on the star icon to save the email as a template. The star icon should now appear black. Your email is now saved as a template!
Step 2
Navigate to the the Emails page (Content > Emails > Favorites) and find your favorited email. Once found, click the 'clone' button to copy over as a template.
Step 3
From here, most fields have been copied over from your original template - HOWEVER, make sure to edit the email name for tracking purposes and insert the scheduled date/time you want this email to be sent on.
Click “Next, Design Email”.
Step 4
Select your target audience using dynamic targeting! Narrow down the estimated number of recipients by adding in more criteria to reach families.
Step 5
Insert an image and make any necessary changes to the email body using either the basic or advanced designer.
After completing your edits, please click “Next, Review Alert”.
Step 5
You’re almost there!
Review your email and make sure it appears as expected and click ”Schedule!”
You’re all done - you’ve created an email from a template!
