How to Use Posts on CampusKnot (Students)

This guide shows you how to post in your course feed, ask questions anonymously, and earn points on CampusKnot.

Posts inside the CampusKnot feed is where your class talks between sessions. Post a question when you're stuck, join discussions, and earn points when your instructor drops a point post.

Before You Start

You have a CampusKnot account. If you don't have one yet, see How to Create a CampusKnot Account.

How to create a post

Step 1 Open your course and go to the the '+ New Activity' button

Step 2 Click on the 'General Post' option

⚠️ This post type will enable students to post anonymous questions.

Step 3 Write your post. Use the toolbar to bold, italicize, or underline text

Step 4 If you'd like to make your post anonymous, choose the 'Anonymous Question' option

Step 5 Click 'Publish'

Create a Post from the Mobile App

⚠️Math and chemistry equations are only available on the web version.

Step 1 Open your course list and choose the course you want to post in

Step 2 Select the pink '+' icon → 'Create New Post'

Step 3 Under 'Select Tags' choose one of the default tags

Step 4 Tap Aa to open the text formatting options or the paper clip (📎) icon to attach images

Step 5 Select the 'send icon' a confirmation message will confirm the post is available within the course

Edit a Post inside CampusKnot (Web + Mobile Steps)

Step 1 Navigate to your post

Step 2 Choose the three-dot (⋮) icon

Step 3 Choose the 'Edit' option

Step 4 Click on the send icon, once ready!
