How to Use Posts on CampusKnot (Faculty)

How to create a post

Step 1 Open your course and go to the the '+ New Activity' button

New Activity button below the selected course in the My Courses sidebar

Step 2 Choose a post type

Discussion, Announcement, and General cards highlighted on the Pick activity screen

Discussion, conversation: open a topic the class responds to and builds on together

Announcement, broadcast: send a one-way message like reminders and updates

General, share: post a thought, note, link, or anything else ⚠️ Anonymous view is only available in this post type

Step 3 Type content or choose the 'Generate a post' option (for faster content generation)

Step 3 Write your message in the Message field. Use the toolbar to format text, bold, italics, lists, or equations

Step 4 Choose to publish your content or schedule it for a later time

Create an Anonymous post

⚠️ Anonymous questions hide the student's name from classmates, but you always see who posted.

Step 1 Open your course and go to the the '+ New Activity' button

Step 2 Choose the 'General post' option

Step 3 Under the 'Topic tags' choose the 'Anonymous Question'

Step 4 To view the author of an anonymous comments or posts, click on the three-dot (⋮) icon

Step 5 Select the 'Show Anonymous'

Edit a Post inside CampusKnot (Web + Mobile Steps):

Step 1 Navigate to your post

Step 2 Choose the three-dot (⋮) icon

Step 3 Choose the 'Edit' option

Step 4 Click on the send icon, once ready!
