Dear CampusKnot Users,

We would like to inform you about an important update regarding SMS verification on the CampusKnot platform.

What's happening?

Some CampusKnot users are experiencing issues when requesting an SMS verification code.

Why is this happening?

Rulings and regulations implemented by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on July 5, 2023, require every messaging provider who services Application-to-Person (A2P) Campaigns in the U.S. to conduct vetting and be fully registered to an approved campaign before sending messages. This new regulation is affecting every U.S. company supporting communication via SMS.

What are doing about it?

We understand that this sudden alteration may have caused inconvenience for some of our users. Finding temporary solutions while we wait for approval is crucial to our team. Here's what we are doing:

  1. Expedited A2P Process: We have submitted multiple requests to expedite the Application-to-Person (A2P) process, which involves registering our phone numbers under approved campaigns. This will allow us to comply with the FCC requirements.

  2. Daily SMS Verifications: Our team is now conducting hourly SMS verifications to ensure that your accounts remain fully functional and accessible.

  3. Skip Options: Each user has been provided with up to five skips for SMS verification.

If your verification process has been unsuccessful after using all five skips, please email us at support@campusknot.com.

In the email, kindly provide your phone number and any relevant details. Our support team will promptly assist you in resolving the verification issue.

We apologize for any inconvenience this change may have caused and greatly appreciate your understanding during this transition. Our top priority is to provide you with a secure and reliable platform.

Best regards,

The CampusKnot Team💜
