Sync your course roster from your LMS to automatically add students to CampusKnot, or update your roster after your add/drop period ends.
Before You Start
This guide assumes you've already linked your LMS account to CampusKnot. If you haven't, complete that setup first: How to Link Your LMS Account to CampusKnot.
⚠️ Are your course sections combine into one course inside your LMS? How you set it up in CampusKnot depends on whether those sections meet at the same time:
Different times: create a Multi-section course in CampusKnot and upload each section's roster manually. Don't use the sync steps below, instead follow these steps
Same time: Continue with the steps below
Sync Your Roster
Step 1 Choose the 'Create a new course' option
Step 2 Choose the course you'd like to import from your LMS into CampusKnot
Step 3 Click on 'Next'→ 'Create course and sync'
Step 4 Inside CampusKnot, navigate to the three-dot (⋮) icon and select 'Manage members'
Students without a CampusKnot account appear under Pending
Students who already have an account appear under Members
Step 5 The course status changes to LMS, confirming the roster imported successfully
Update your roster
Step 1 Choose the 'Update roster' option
Step 2 Click on 'Import to Existing Course'
Step 3 After seeing the 'Success' message, log in to your CampusKnot account and verify that your new course and roster are updated
