🧩 Understanding xAPI Courses in Carebility

Some courses in Carebility are called xAPI courses.
These courses are created and managed outside of Carebility but are hosted within your learning path. Because they’re interactive and more complex, they may behave a little differently than standard Carebility courses.

🎓 A list of current xAPI Courses:

  • What is Dementia: Etiology and Treatment

  • SharePoint Navigation 101

  • Facebook Expectations

  • Creative Solutions – Guided Care Portal

💡 Tips for Completing xAPI Courses

These courses require completing all interactive steps before you can move forward. The Next or Submit button will not appear until every clickable item has been completed.

Here’s what to look for:

  • Use the small “Next” button inside the course window site

  • Complete any drag-and-drop activities or knowledge checks.

  • Click all hotspots, tabs, or callout icons on each slide.

  • Complete any drag-and-drop activities or knowledge checks.

  • Select the three lines in the upper right corner of the video

This may let you advance to the next section. In SharePoint Navigation, click this icon and click Main slide (even if it is already checked)

Once every required interaction is finished, the embedded Next or Submit button will activate so you can continue.

🚨 If You’re Stuck

If you’ve completed all interactions and the slide still won’t advance:

  • Take a screenshot and send it to us in the chat, and we’ll review it.

  • If it’s the weekend and support isn’t quickly available, try restarting the course and completing it in one sitting.

    • We know that’s not ideal, but it’s often the quickest fix.

How to Drap and Drop on different devices

How to Use Drag and Drop on Different Devices

These XAPI courses include drag-and-drop questions. Here’s how to complete them depending on the device you’re using:

🖥️ On a Computer (PC or Mac)

  1. Move your cursor over the item you want to drag.

  2. Click and hold the left mouse button or trackpad.

  3. While holding down, drag the item to the correct location.

    • Keep the mouse pressed the entire time.

  4. Release the mouse button to drop the item in place.

Tip: If it doesn’t move, try clicking and holding for a moment before dragging.

📱 On a Tablet (iPad, Android Tablet)

  1. Place your finger on the item you want to move.

  2. Press and hold for a second until the item “sticks.”

  3. Slide your finger to drag the item where it belongs.

  4. Lift your finger to drop it.

Tip: If the page scrolls instead of dragging, try pressing a little longer before moving your finger.

📱 On a Phone (iPhone or Android)

Dragging and dropping on a small screen can be tricky because the screen may scroll. Try this:

  1. Touch and hold the item for a moment.

  2. Once it activates, slowly drag it to the correct spot.

  3. Release your finger to drop it.

Tip: Zoom in if needed—this can make the drag area easier to hit.

🎉 If Drag and Drop Still Isn’t Working

  • Try rotating your device to landscape mode.

  • Zoom in or out to reduce scrolling.

  • Ensure your screen isn’t too sensitive (some phone cases interfere).

  • Refresh the page.

  • If possible, switch to a laptop or desktop device—drag and drop works most smoothly there.
