Here is a quick guide on ensuring that you properly setup your Practitioner Schedules in Dentrix.
It is a must for your Practitioner Schedules in Dentrix to be accurate, because they will be synced to CareCru to be used for your patients to submit Online Booking Requests.
🛑According to a best-practices article from Dentrix, they instruct to setup your Practice Hours (Office Hours) before Provider Hours. Therefore, please ensure you have followed the below steps first to verify your Dentrix Practice Hours before moving forward.
Setting up your Practitioner Schedule in Dentrix
1. Click on Appointment Book near the bottom of the Dentrix window
2. Click the Setup menu → click Provider Setup
3. Continue to Dentrix’s step-by-step guide to ensure each Provider’s (Practitioner) schedule is configured properly by clicking the below link:
4. Afterwards - To verify if your Provider Hours (‘Practitioner Schedules’) synced correctly to CareCru, please click this link:
5. Assign the appropriate Chairs (‘Operatories’ in Dentrix) to your Practitioners. Due to some restrictions with Dentrix currently, Chairs are not synced over. Please use this guide to manually assign Chairs in CareCru.
