Updating or adding address but no match found on the map

When I add the home address of my staff member or support worker, why does the address not match or say that no possibilities were returned?

Careflo uses Google Maps to match addresses and plot them on the map. That means the address needs to match exactly what google is expecting from the address. There are some idiosyncrasies with how Google store addresses however this should be simple to fix.

Here are the two most common solutions to matching Google addresses:

  1. The address you have entered into Careflo (example 5 Adelaide Avenue), when searched in Google (www.google.com.au), returns a message saying “Did you mean ...”. Please enter the address suggested by Google (providing it still matches the address you are after) and verify in Careflo if it now shows as mapped as you can see by the Map icon in Screenshot #1.

  2. The address entered has slightly different text or abbreviation as represented in below screenshot where the only difference is “Avenue” vs “Ave”. Please update to the address shown in the map view instead of the search bar providing it still matches the address overall. Please view Screenshot #2 below.
