If you have a new or existing staff member and need to change the login details this will show you how to change email address or password

Providing you have at least "Read and Write" permission to the Admin module, then you can change the login email address and password on behalf of the user. Note that the user can change their own password as well from the login screen and click "Forgotten your password?" link. After entering their email address Careflo will send them an email directly with instructions on how to change it.

To change a user email address or update their password for them, navigate to the Admin module, click Users then locate and click the user you want to update. Sometimes there are duplicate users created for a person so look for this is you have updated it but has not taken effect.

When clicking the user you want to update you will see a screen that looks like this:

You can see it contains options to:

  • Reset Password. Click this button to disable the current password and email the user a new temporary password. First validate that the email addresses shown are correct. The email will come from noreply@careflo.com.au and is sent to the sign in email address on the user.

  • Update Sign-in email address and other details like name and contact numbers. Note that there are 2 email addresses. The Sign-in email address (used on the login screen) can be changed on this screen. The Contact email address is changed on the Support Worker by going to Staff module, click Staff then locate and click on the person you want to update, and click Update under contact details.

  • Update permissions. You can select the modules a user should see, and the level of access within the module. A support worker that only performs service visits only need the "Support Worker App" permissions set as per above example.

  • Make Primary. This should not be changed.

  • Disable. This will block their access to Careflo, but will ask you to confirm before doing it. The user can be made Active again by clicking to Reactivate them.

  • Remove. This will remove the user from Careflo, but will ask you to confirm before doing it.
