Referral Accounts and Contacts

Keep track of where each referral came from.

Most referrals automatically include:

  1. Referring Account/Hospital: The organization sending the referral.

  2. Contact Person: The individual associated with the referral (e.g., physician or case manager).

However, sometimes this information might be incomplete or missing. Here’s how you can address that quickly and efficiently:

Add Account and Contact:

  • Go to the referral overview tab and click "Select Account and Contact."

  • Search for the referring account or hospital and select it. If it’s not listed, create a new account with the required details (e.g., name, address, and phone number).

    Note: Only an admin can add a new account that is not yet in the list. Reach out to your Careflow admin for assistance.

  • Search for the contact person and select them. If they’re not listed, create a new contact by entering their name, role, phone number, and email address.
