This guide is for Cirrus 2 users.

There are two main purposes for creating Quotes in Cirrus 2.

  1. To get a correct potential value of the opportunity

  2. To create a document to send to the customer

I order to create a quote, you need to make sure your have articles imported. Articles can be imported from Excel.

Step 1.Β

A quote is always created from an opportunity. So the first step to be able to create a quote is to create an opportunity, or open up an existing opportunity.Β

Then click on the "Quote" tab πŸ‘‡

Step 2.Β

Next step is to choose the articles you want to add to your quote. Use the search to find each article, they can be found by name or article number.Β

You can change amount, price, in price and discount.
The default values are the ones that came with the article when you imported it.Β

When you're all set, click "+ ADD", then search for a new article if you want to add several.

Step 3.

When you're done all included articles can be found under "Quote rows". Click on the pen to edit or the X to delete.

A summary of the total quote is displayed on the top, and in the bottom left corner, you can choose to make the value of the quote the value of the opportunity as well.Β

Step 4.Β

Want to create a PDF of your quote?
Head over to the button next to "SAVE" and select "print to PDF".

Then choose the template you want to use and click CREATE PDF.

The PDF file will automatically be saved in the opportunity under the tab "Documents". Just head over there to download it and send it over to the potential buyer!

Please note - a quote template needs be installed to your platform for the feature "print to pdf" to work. Reach out to us at customercare@careofcrm.com and well help you set it up!
