In CCQ, customers can create their own custom user groups. These are groups that can be used as mailing lists or to control access to individual documents. However, a user must first have access to the CCQ system through the system’s built-in access groups.
User groups are often used for sending emails or as access groups in a narrower sense — for example, to restrict access to certain documents to a specific group, send emails to that group, request confirmation of reading etc.
Here is a video tutorial showing how to create such user groups. In this example, the group is maintained manually, and the CCQ system administrator can add or remove users as needed.
In this example we also show how to use such a group to request users to confirm reading at publication.
