When you delete your Cedar merchant account, you will no longer have access to your Merchant Dashboard, transaction history, and related services. However, there are some important details regarding how your data is handled after account deletion.

Key Points:

  1. Loss of Access

    • Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to the Merchant Dashboard and all associated tools and transaction records.

  2. Retention of Data for Legal Compliance

    • Cedar may retain certain personal and transaction data for a period of time to comply with legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations (e.g., tax or financial reporting requirements). This data will be securely stored for the necessary retention period.

  3. Data Destruction or Anonymization

    • After the retention period, Cedar will ensure that your personal data is destroyed or anonymized where possible to protect your privacy and comply with data protection laws.

  4. Notifications

    • You will receive a confirmation once your account has been deleted, and any remaining data retention or anonymization activities will be communicated as needed.
