How to create, style and embed Cevoid Email Widgets in Klaviyo

Before you start: Activate the Klaviyo integration

  1. Click Enable

    1. You will be redirected to Klaviyo

  2. Select the correct Klaviyo account to connect

  3. Click Allow

Create your UGC email widget

Create a static email widget and select posts

This email widget allows you to hand-pick posts for a specific email

Select posts

  1. Click New email widget

  2. Select Static widget

  3. Click Content

  4. Click Add posts from library

  5. Select the posts you want to include in your email

    1. Use the filter to find specific posts you are looking for

  6. Click Add posts

This email widget will be updated with new posts when they are approved and match your filters, allowing you to use the same email widget over time.

  1. Click New email widget

  2. Select Dynamic widget

  3. Click Content

  4. Click Dynamic content

  2. Select Abandon cart widget

  3. Optional: Activate the Fallback posts setting to ensure that the widget is filled with relevant posts if there are not enough posts tagged with the products mentioned in your email

Pin posts to specific positions

You can pin posts to specific positions if you want to keep specific posts.

Unpinned posts will be replaced and repositioned when new posts are approved

  1. Click Content

  2. Click All content

  3. Arrange posts to your preferred order

    1. Drag and drop to pin a post to a specific position

    2. Hover on a post and click the pin icon to pin a post to its current position.


Style and customize the email widget

  1. Navigate to your email widget

  2. Click Design

  3. Adjust the styling

    1. Select how many rows you want to include

    2. Select how many columns you want to include

    3. Adjust the Corner roundness

    4. Adjust the grid-gap

    5. Select what width the email widget should have

      1. Fill width will cover the whole section width (recommended)

      2. Select Fixed width if you want to specify the exact width

  4. Adjust Display options to select information that is shown under each post.

  5. Select the aspect ratio the posts should have

  6. Click Link options to decide what should happen when a reader clicks a post


Embed the email widget in Klaviyo

Add the email widget's web feed in Klaviyo

This step is not needed for static email widgets

  1. Select your email widget

  2. Click Embed widget

  3. Navigate to Klaviyo

  4. Navigate to Settings

  5. Click Other

  6. Click Add web feed

    1. Copy the email widget's Feed name from Cevoid and paste it into Klaviyo

    2. Copy the email widget's Feed URL from Cevoid and paste it into Klaviyo

    3. Keep GET as Request method

    4. Keep JSON as Content type

  7. Click Add web feed

Add the email widget to your email

  1. Navigate to your email widget

  2. Click Embed widget

  3. Select what market the email widget will be used for

    1. This ensures correct product info and URLs

  4. Copy the code snippet

  5. Navigate to your email in Klaviyo

  6. Add a text block to your Klaviyo email and drag it to your preferred position​

  7. Edit the Source code of the text block

  8. Delete the placeholder text

  9. Paste your Email Widget embed code from the Cevoid platform.

  10. Click Apply

  11. Click Save to save your progress

    1. This will also make the images from your widget appear!

  12. Done

Feel free to add a title above the email widget or style it any way you like to add your personal touch and branding!
