How do people receive notifications? Can they be turned off?

Through multiple sources, members receive push notifications and can choose which they want to receive

Through the app, members will receive mobile push notifications from a few sources - Announcements, Chalk Talk, Comments, or High Fives.

Members can edit which they want to receive EXCEPT for announcements.

Under 'More Options' *the three vertical dots on the top right of the screen* > select 'Settings'. Members can then toggle which notifications they would like to turn off.
