Have a plan - Do you want them to track specific metrics? Are they creating the goals themselves? How many goals should they be creating?
Use Body Comp Metrics to allow them to record their goals. Both athlete's and coaches can edit those metrics, you can see progress over time, and it's easily findable in My Dashboard.
In the Movements/Metrics under the Coaches tab, you can create custom metrics for their My Dashboard section.
Make sure to choose the Body Composition tag when creating so the metric is added to My Dashboard.
Keep in mind that when you create a metric like this, it will add to your entire gym's My Dashboard.
Add as many metrics as you'd like - Goal 1, Goal 2, Goal 3, etc. OR 2025 Goal 1, 2025 Goal 2, etc. You can also add other metrics like body measurements, martial arts belts, or Inbody scans (I'll explain this more below).
When recording the metric in their dashboard, or if an athlete is doing this themselves, they will need to enter a number for the metric. It can just be something random since what we're concerned about is typing in the notes... unless it's a metric that's trackable. For example, "my goal is 5 bodyweight pull-ups in 2025". The athlete's can track numbers along the way.
You can upload pics for progress or downloaded pics of Inbody scans (or something similar).
*Make sure athletes and coaches do NOT select Private as the athletes will be the only one's to see it. If coaches are doing check-ins, they won't be able to view the result. Explain to the athlete that only them and coaches can see their goals and metrics.
You can view the progress along the way by going to the metric and selecting History > Edit. You'll be able to view the notes and picture.
