Use the Microsoft 365 Roadmap feed to see what Microsoft is developing and releasing. It is useful for planning and monitoring; a roadmap date does not confirm that a feature is already available in your tenant.
Choose the right Roadmap view
All Items provides the broadest starting point.
New Items focuses on recently added roadmap records.
Rolling Out shows items Microsoft has marked as Rolling out. It is based on status, not a forecast based only on the month.
Recently Launched shows records marked Launched.
Removed shows records marked Cancelled in the dataset.
Date Changes shows recorded availability-date changes.
Follow a feature
Open Microsoft 365 Roadmap in the main navigation.
Choose a view, then use its available product, status or cloud filters.
Open a feature's title to read the detail page.
Review its status, rollout date, supported platforms and cloud instances where provided.
Check the source link and history for the latest explanation.
Select Watch if the feature matters to an upcoming project.
Use the numeric Roadmap ID when sharing a feature with colleagues. A title can change while the source ID remains the useful reference.
Interpret the rollout window
A month-level rollout date is a planning window, not a promise of availability on the first day of the month. Use the original source wording and relevant Message Center announcement to understand platform, cloud and tenant eligibility.
Understand the data scope
The Roadmap is a global dataset. Connecting a Microsoft 365 tenant changes your Message Center feed; it does not turn the Roadmap into a list of only the features enabled in your environment.
If a feature's timing changes, review its history before updating a project plan or user communication. Record both the source date and your internal preparation date so the team can distinguish them.
Check the cloud scope
Roadmap feed lists now default to Worldwide. Choose All clouds to include government-only cloud records, or use an explicit cloud filter where offered. Date Changes is a separate view and retains its broader cloud scope. If a known item is absent, check the cloud selection along with your other filters.
Columns and related announcements
Use Columns to choose the table fields you need. Open related Message Center or Roadmap links where the item supplies them; a linked Roadmap feature is not confirmation of a rollout to your tenant.
