Share a ChangePilot link when you want a colleague to inspect an announcement or repeat a filtered query. Choose an item link for one record and a feed URL for a working list.

Share one item

  1. Open the item's detail page.

  2. Copy the browser address.

  3. Include the source, item ID and the question or action you want the recipient to review.

A useful message is “Please check the preparation steps for this Message Center item before our next review”, followed by the item link. A title alone gives the recipient less context and can become ambiguous if the title changes.

Share a filtered list

  1. Open the source feed.

  2. Set the filters, sort and layout you want to share.

  3. Copy the complete URL, including its query parameters.

  4. Explain the purpose of the query and whether a particular period or result needs attention.

The URL describes the query. It does not send your entire dataset or grant the recipient access to your tenant. They may need to sign in and can see only their authorised data.

Why the results can differ

Two accounts can have different tenant access. Source data can also change after you send the link. A copied URL preserves query settings; it is not a frozen copy of the matching records.

Saved Views belong to your account, so a colleague will not automatically own the same saved View. Preserve the full filtered URL when sharing a query. Sharing a link does not share your private label definitions or grant tenant access.

Make a lasting review record

For decisions that need a point-in-time record, retain the review date, item ID, relevant source wording and your decision in the appropriate work system. Keep the ChangePilot link alongside it for checking later updates.
