Job Stages for Storage Jobs
In Chariot’s Storage Module, just like in the Moving Module, you have Job Stages to help you stay organized throughout your sales funnel and beyond. Here’s a quick overview:
Leads:
These are potential customers who might require storage, often linked to a moving job. You can create storage leads when customers express interest in storage or while creating moving leads.
Booked:
A Booked job means the customer has committed to storing with you, but their items haven’t been moved into storage yet. Use this stage to start planning for their arrival, including prepping the warehouse space.
In Storage:
Once the customer’s items are in storage, move the job to the In Storage stage, keeping everything tracked.
Closed:
This stage is for customers who have moved out of storage. The job is no longer active, but it helps keep your records complete.
How to update stages
Bulk Updates: Just like in the Move Module, you can select multiple jobs and update their stages at once.
Individual Job Updates: Click into a specific job, select Actions, and choose Update Stage to adjust its status.
Note: Cancelled or Deleted stages
Cancelled: For jobs where storage was scheduled but the customer no longer needs it.
Deleted: For jobs created by accident or no longer relevant. These remain accessible in the archives.
Additional Tips:
You can create lead or booked jobs without assigning a zone. If uncertain, use a "Unassigned /General" zone until space is confirmed.
