Push Lists to Hubspot

Use Charm's Lists to push new brands to Hubspot

In order to push brands and their contacts from Lists in Charm to Hubspot you must first set up the Hubspot integration and have available brand credits. You can view your brand credit count on the account tab: https://charm.io/account/

It is recommended to turn off Hubspot's functionality to create new companies with contacts. This can be done on Hubspot's settings page, under Data Management > Objects > Companies.

This will prevent Hubspot from creating new companies when it detects that there are multiple email domains used in a single Charm brand.

Only Static lists can be pushed to Hubspot right now, so you can choose from any existing or create a new list.

You can push records from both the Lists tab at charm.io/lists or from within a specific list using the highlighted icon above. Note: The push to Hubspot button will not show if you don’t have credits available.

Once you click to push records to Hubspot you will be prompted to confirm that you would like to complete the push. Click OK to continue.

You will receive an email notification that confirms the status of your push. The result will show if you were successful in pushing records over or providing an explanation of any issues that occurred. Note: this email is sent when we have successfully sent brands to Hubspot, there may be delays in Hubspot adding brands to your instance.

New Companies

When a new brand is added to hubspot, it would show up as a Company with the following main fields populated:

  • Company Name

  • City

  • Country / Region

  • Source = Charm.io

and additionally all “Charm” fields that have value.

Pushing updated information

You can update Charm specific properties into Hubspot by pushing the same list a second time. If the company already exists in Hubspot, the integration will check and update any “Charm” properties that are not up-to-date. Note: if a field in Charm is empty, that field will not be updated as part of this check (i.e. if this was manually filled in by a user in Hubspot, it will not be overridden as part of this update).

If there are no changes to the brand, this will not be counted in the notification email (i.e. if your list contains 100 brands and only 20 of them had updates since you last pushed, the email notification will show that 20 brands have been pushed to Hubspot).

Reminder that Hubspot integration updates brands weekly with the batch sync so this is only required if you want an ad hoc update for brands from a specific list. You can read more about the batch sync here.

Limitations

We currently push only first 100k brands from the list, prioritized by Growth score
