Chatsie Navbar is part of the Chatsie suite of apps creating the simplified smartphone experience. To work, the suite requires permissions from Android; occasionally security-conscious apps like banking apps will inadvertently flag those permissions as a security risk.

Try the following steps below to solve the issue, and if you don't have any luck please call us on 020 4524 0751 or email us on support@chatsie.com and we'll look into it for you:

1. Temporarily delete banking app

> On the Main Menu, scroll down to the bottom

> Tap Other options

> Tap Advanced

> Tap Delete apps

> Find the banking app and tap "Delete"

2. Reinstall Chatsie Navbar

> It is very important you do NOT delete Chatsie Navbar using the same steps as above

> On the Main Menu, scroll down to the bottom

> Tap Other options

> Tap Add apps

> Tap "Open Google Play"

> Search for "Chatsie Nav Bar" and select it

> Tap "Uninstall"

> Once the process is finished, tap "Install"

3. Reinstall HSBC app

> Search for your banking and select it

> Tap install

> Tap "Main Menu"

> Tap Add apps

> Scoll down to find you banking app and tap the icon to "Show" it, sliding the button to the right

> Return to Main Menu and find the app on your shortcuts app and attempt login.
