You can increase the screen's brightness in Android settings.
> On the Main Menu, scroll to the bottom
> Tap Other options
> Tap Advanced
> Scroll to the bottom
> Tap Open Android settings
> Tap Continue to the warning
> Tap Yes to the warning
> Tap Display at the bottom
> Tap "Brightness level"
> This will reveal a subtle yellow bar at the top. Hold your finger on the bar and drag it left and right to change the brightness to your desired level.
> If you get pushed back to the previous menu, just tap Continue and Yes on the warnings to return to what you were doing.
