Chatsie is built on Android 14 which accommodates for the Hard of Hearing and Deaf Communnity in the Accessibility section.
The key visual indicator is via Flash Notification, as well as supporting the use of Apps associated with Hearing Aids which can be downloaded via the Google Play Store.
To turn on Flash Notifications:
On Main Menu
> Scroll to the bottom
> Tap Other Options
> Tap Advanced
> Scroll to the bottom
> Tap Android Settings
> Tap Continue
> Tap Yes
> Tap Accessibility
> Tap Scroll down to and Tap Flash notifications
> Tap "Screen Flash" on
Connect your hearing aids with Bluetooth:
On Main Menu
> Scroll to the bottom
> Tap Other Options
> Tap Advanced
> Scroll to the bottom
> Tap Android Settings
> Tap Continue
> Tap Yes
> Tap Open Connected Devices
> Tap + Pair New Device
> Tap the option for your Hearing Aids
Your Hearing Aids may have to be set to pairing mode or a setting to connect, if you don't see them in the list.
