Check Cherry makes it easy for you to offer a variety of layouts and designs for your customers photos, and our easy 3-step system lets you add your own custom artwork and lets your customer approve and personalize their templates.
Begin by going to Manage --> Design Collections
We include a sample design collection for layouts that applies to all packages. Click on the design collection to choose which packages it applies to if you want to change this.

Click the Settings tab and choose which packages to offer these designs with.
Create categories to easily sort through designs
Create categories for your designs, to help the customer choose more quickly
Once Categories are defined - which you do on the Categories tab -
you can add tags to each design template to assign it to the category of your choice, which makes it easier for customers to find what they're looking for.
Create Layouts to categorize your designs based on their layout
Click the Layouts tab to create layout categories to help further categorize your designs.
Create Extra Questions to allow your customers to customize their designs
On the Extra Questions tab, you can give your customers the ability to provide you with customization information for their design.
If you make changes to a design collection, it will not affect existing bookings
Any changes you make to design collections will have no effect on existing bookings. If you have made changes and wish to apply those changes to your existing bookings, click on the design collection and you will see a banner with a button to apply the changes to your existing bookings.
You can include different field types for the extra questions, as well as make the question required or not.
You can also add more questions, or delete them using the link in the lower right corner.
Customers can choose one (1) design from each design collection
Each design collection allows the customer to choose one (1) selection, so if you want them to be able to choose more than 1 design for their booking, you can assign more than 1 design collection to a package. For example, if you want to provide a design for the prints, but also allow them to choose a layout format, you would create two (2) design collections - one for the artwork and another for the layout.
