About Check Cherry Payments
Check Cherry Payments is the easiest way to accept payments. Allow your customers to pay via credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or ACH and your funds will be deposited directly into your bank account. View payments, payouts, refunds and more directly within your Check Cherry account and avoid the need to log into separate websites. Run integrated reports with fees included to accurately track revenue at the end of the year.
Switching Payment Processors
If you're in the US and are currently using Square, our legacy Stripe Connect integration, or PayPal without another payment processor, switching to Check Cherry Payments can help ensure you're able to take advantage of all the payment processing features we support.
Check Cherry only supports a single payment processor at a time, so if you're currently using one of these payment processors you can visit Manage -> Payment Settings in order to disconnect it.
After disconnecting, simply go back to Manage --> Payment Settings and click the bright green "Enable Payment Processing" button. If you were previously using Stripe, you may see a slightly different screen prompting you to connect to your Stripe account.

+1% for international cards, +1% if currency conversion is required
Do you want to pass along payment processing fees to your customers?
If you are using Check Cherry Payments, you have the option to pass the credit card processing fees to your clients. To do this, click on Manage --> Payment Options, then click the settings gear for credit card settings in the right sidebar, then set the radio button to Yes for this option.
When you choose to pass credit card processing fees to your customers, you will still be charged the 2.9% + .30 per transaction, and the client will have a new charge on their invoice called Payment Processing Fee. In this way, the fee that Stripe charges you for credit card processing is passed along to the client so that they pay the fee back to you, essentially reimbursing you for those fees.
