'Tags' are used in many software application, and is also used in Next Field (CHECKD). Tags work as keywords or labels that you use to tag 'Items' (tasks) that are being created.
E.g. when a project member logs an 'Item' on a project, they can give the item a title, description, upload photos, and add tags.
Let's say a carpenter is working on a building, and he is going to build a wall in a room. In this case, it could be relevant to use tags like 'Carpenter' and/or 'Wall' and so on, to easily identify what type of task it is.
The most important thing regarding the use of tags is to use them as keywords in the filtration options in the 'Items' tab on a project. From there you can keep track of the status of items with specific tags, and you can generate reports with items that have one or several specific tags attached to them.
We recommend that you use tags that are relevant to the type of work or observation that you are doing, e.g.:
Profession/Field: Plumbing, Pipes, Electrician, Concrete, Steel, Painter.
Type/Observation: Quality Control, Deviation, EHS, Safety inspection, Pre-Inspection, End-Inspection, 1-year Inspection, Snag-List.
Other applicable/relevant Tags: HMS, QC, DEV, Add-on, Complaint, Reception.
