Now you have access to a sandbox environment, here are five exercises to give you a flavour of how ChemCloud will operate once it is live.
You username and password in the sandbox environment are the same as in your live account.
1. Check that your products and approved materials look right
Navigate to 'Products --> Products' in the top navigation.
Choose three different products, and look at the 'Approved Materials' at the bottom of the page. Do these look right?
2. Request quotes from your suppliers
Type in a Product for which you have multiple suppliers and generate a sourcing request
Choose the suppliers to send the request to (don't worry, no emails will send)
3. Add quotes in three different ways
Add quote on request page: Add a quote from a supplier of that product from the request page
Add quote from top navigation bar: Now, navigate anywhere in ChemCloud. click the 'plus' sign and add a quote to the existing request
Email a quote to your personalised email address: Send a 'dummy quote' to your personalised quote-ingestor email address and it will be populated into the app
4. Place an order
Proceed to PO for your selected quote
Review the terms
Set a required by date
Review the automations available when you place an order
5. Update order to delivered
Edit the Delivery and update the status, ETD and ETA of a delivery
Try leaving a note against the delivery
Finally, update it to delivered
Success!
You've now trialled the whole system end-to-end, and are ready to go live!
