So, we’re extending everyone’s referral status and benefits until February 28, 2026. This extension gives you more time to enjoy your current benefits, and even move up to the next status.
What is the referral status extension?
Your referral status as of December 31, 2025 will carry forward into early 2026.
That means:
You keep your current referral benefits through February 28, 2026
You can continue referring friends during this time
You can still level up to a higher status before the reset
How does the extension work?
Here’s how it works step by step:
Your status and referral count as of December 31, 2025 are frozen and carried forward
From January 1 to February 28, 2026, you:
Keep your existing referral benefits
Can earn new referrals
Can move up to the next status if you hit the threshold
On March 1, 2026, referral status resets for the new year
What happens on March 1, 2026?
On March 1:
Your status will "reset" and be based only on referrals made in 2026
Any referrals you made between January 1 and February 28, 2026 still count toward your 2026 progress
Example: How this works in practice
Here’s a simple example to illustrate:
Ryan referred 4 people and was in Pink status as of December 31, 2025
On January 15, 2026, Ryan refers 1 more person
That brings him to 5 total referrals, upgrading him to Gold status
Ryan enjoys Gold benefits (1.0% fee) until February 28, 2026
On March 1, 2026:
Ryan’s status resets to Starter, and # of referrals resets to 1 (since his January 15 referral still counts toward his 2026 referral progress)
He pays the full 1.75% fee
Ryan needs to make 2 more referrals to level up to Pink status for 2026
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I lose my referrals on March 1, 2026?
No. Referrals you make in 2026 (including January and February) will count toward your 2026 status. At that point, your 2025 referrals will no longer count towards your status. Your status level resets based on your referral history for 2026.
Can I still move up to the next status during the extension?
Yes! If you hit the next referral threshold between January 1 and February 28, 2026, you’ll upgrade immediately and enjoy the higher benefits until February 28, 2026.
What fee will I pay after February 28, 2026?
Starting March 1, 2026, your status level resets based on your referral history since January 1, 2026. In the example above, since Ryan made 1 referral in 2026, his status would rest to the Starter tier, with 1 referral.
