📋 Before You Start (Prerequisites)

Make sure you have the following ready before beginning the process:

  • Active Chexy Business Account: Set up and verified.

  • clicSÉQUR – Entreprises Access: Valid login for your business's Revenu Québec portal.

  • Form TPZ-1015: Your provincial (QC) payroll tax worksheet (usually generated by QuickBooks, Xero, or your payroll provider) containing the specific amounts owed for the period.

🛠️ Part 1: File your Declaration (Revenu Québec)

  1. Open your TPZ-1015 worksheet: Keep this handy as you will need to reference the specific amounts listed.

  2. Log in to Revenu Québec: Navigate to Mon dossier pour les entreprises and click Accéder next to "Entreprises."

  3. Navigate to Payroll: Click on Retenues et Cotisations, then under the PRODUIRE section, select Déclaration de retenues et de cotisations de l'employeur.

  4. Select Period: Choose the correct identification number, period, and due date. Make sure the fréquence de déclaration (e.g., Mensuelle) matches your required filing frequency.

  5. Enter Amounts: In the Renseignements section, match the fields to your TPZ-1015 form. Use the table below for translation:

7. Save your Payment Code: The system will generate a 20-digit payment code. Copy this code to a secure note or notepad on your device, you will need it for the next part. Keep the Revenu Québec tab open for reference.

💳 Part 2: Process Payment (Chexy)

  1. Log into Chexy: Open a new tab and sign in to your Chexy Dashboard.
Note: Make sure to log into your Chexy dashboard for your business.

  2. Initiate Payment: Click the New Payment + button.

  3. Find Recipient: In the Payment recipient field, type "Revenu Quebec" and select Revenu Quebec-Code de Paiement/Payment code from the dropdown menu.

  4. Enter Details: Click Continue, paste your 20-digit payment code, and enter the Total Amount to pay.
⚠️ Note: This amount must exactly match the total on your TPZ-1015 and the declaration submitted to Revenu Québec via clicSÉQUR in Part 1 above.

  5. Schedule & Pay:

    • Payment Date: Select your desired date. Recommendation: Schedule the payment at least 15 days before the Revenu Québec deadline to allow for processing.

    • Funding: Select your preferred credit card from your Chexy wallet.

  6. Confirm: Click Continue to finalize the setup.

📑 Part 3: Confirmation & Records

  1. Download Receipt: Chexy typically generates a payment receipt (including processing fees) one day after the payment send date. You can find this in your Chexy portal by clicking on the Revenu Québec transaction and selecting Download receipt.

  2. Verify with Revenu Québec: Allow 5–8 business days for the payment to post. To verify:

    • Log into clicSÉQUR.

    • Go to Retenues et Cotisations > Consulter > Déclarations.

    • Locate the row for the relevant period. Once the état (status) is marked as completed, download the confirmation PDF for your tax records.
