What is Plaid and how will my landlord use it to verify their identity when I sign up for Credit Builder?

When you enroll in our Credit Builder program, you'll need your landlord to verify their identity using a secure third-party platform called Plaid.

Equifax requires that we do this in order to ensure your landlord is a real person and that they own the property you are paying rent to.

We never save/store any of your landlord's personal information, nor do we use/report such information when we report your rent payments to Equifax.
