What is my E-transfer security question/answer?

If a landlord has enabled Interac auto-deposit then no security question/answer will be required as the E-transfer will be deposited into their account automatically.

If they do not have Interac auto-deposit enabled, they should reference the security information included in the confirmation email sent from Chexy on the morning of your scheduled rent day. Both tenant and landlord receive this email so you're always in the loop 🙂

*Note: e-transfer security details are included for all Chexy users regardless of Interac auto-deposit being enabled by the landlord as a precaution. You can safely ignore these details if Interc auto-deposit is enabled.

You can also view your security question/answer by logging into your Chexy Dashboard

Here you'll also be able to to select "edit" in order to adjust your security question/answer for future payments as desired.

*Please note that once the e-transfer has been sent the security question/answer cannot be changed.
